What I liked most about our coaching relationship was its authenticity. I truly felt safe in the space she provided for me. The benefit of my coaching with Sophie has been allowing myself to be completely honest and transparent as to where I am in life and appreciating who I am as a person. My greatest insight is just how much we need to have authentic conversations and relationships with people in this world and how important it is to hold space for them, allowing them to be transparent and not be judged. Prior to our sessions, I felt very overwhelmed with life. I was able to find the root cause of a lot of unresolved feelings and begin to heal from them. Sophie always provided a safe and comfortable environment for our sessions. I always felt heard, comforted, supported, and never felt judged for my feelings or situations and experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed our opening meditation because I felt that that really helped set the tone for the session. I have been able to apply many of our practices of self care and mindfulness. I feel more accepting and understanding of others and especially with myself, which has always been a very difficult thing for me to do for myself. 

 

I would highly recommend Sophie's coaching to anyone who is looking for growth and healing in their lives. We are all carrying burdens, but through mindfulness and self care we can learn to change our perspective of our situations and heal from those negative situations/burdens which will lead to a life of peace and positive growth in all directions.

I have been affected by Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and Scleroderma since 2012. Living with these illnesses is very painful. I’ve lacked the energy to enjoy life. Sophie recommended that I give up dairy, grains, and gluten. I started feeling less pain within the first week.

 

We focused on the emotional part and how stress can increase my pain levels. I learned about setting boundaries and exploring options for releasing stress like doing exercises and meditation.

This was my favorite part of the coaching because I felt I was receiving therapy with the difference that Sophie had my physical well-being in mind. I learned the importance of taking better care of myself mentally. I loved that we began our sessions with some meditation techniques. 

 

Sophie also suggested some vitamins that helped me tremendously. I noticed that the Magnesium supplement has improved my quality of sleep. Thanks to Sophie, I now feel more prepared to make smarter choices to support my health. May God bless you and help you to continue to support many others!!!

Going through coaching was a very positive experience for me. I enjoyed talking with Sophie and learning new approaches to difficult situations. When I started, I was feeling very anxious and overwhelmed. I was able to use the different tools that were suggested to me to help with my anxiety. Sophie helped me learn new techniques to incorporate into my life. I also liked the resources, such as books, that she had suggested for me to read. I focused a lot on wanting to educate myself more and she helped me achieve that. I am happy to have had this experience and I think others would as well.

With the first session of coaching I felt immediately encouraged to set aside time to exercise several times a week, and I was proud of myself for accomplishing that goal. The accountability helped, and I also felt totally accepted and respected during our sessions.

 

It was really therapeutic to be listened to so deeply. When you would summarize our previous sessions it was a powerful reflection of my own words and experiences and made me feel really seen and heard. You had some inspiring insights, such as growth crisis, questioning the truth of certain beliefs, and reflections of strength and wholeness that already existed (that I was not recognizing). 

 

The meditations were a really nice way to start the sessions. They set the tone as authentic, present, and relaxed. I also felt better and encouraged after the sessions, even if my goals were shifting or not met. I felt like we were honoring my own personal process/growth and you were a supportive witness and coach to that. You held a very open and receptive space.

 

My biggest insight from the coaching was that I really needed to develop self compassion and be kind and accepting of myself during this turbulent time. There’s lots of things that make me feel good…cooking, gardening, piano, working out, socializing…and it’s unreal to expect that I do all of these perfectly in order to be happy. Rather view them as sacred activities and tend to them as such, not beating myself up if I don’t get them all in every day. Cultivating gratitude was also a takeaway, and I’ve been including that practice daily. 

 

I would recommend your coaching to anyone who feels stuck, who senses there is something holding them back from the health or wellness they desire.  Your approach allows people to face limiting beliefs and inner obstacles and develop the practice of inner wellness/wholeness.

I have been striving for better health and fitness for years and then, I decided to work with a wellness coach. I had the absolute pleasure to work with Sophie Posten and she was amazing! She was so supportive and encouraging, and she helped me to understand my body and what I needed to do to be healthy. She also helped me to set realistic goals and to stay motivated.

Working with my coach has been an opportunity to learn ways to have more energy, and I feel better. I am so grateful for her help, and I would recommend working with a wellness coach to anyone who is struggling with their health.

I am now doing more meditation and relaxing exercises with music. I have been fasting and concentrating on eating better meals and even meal prepping so I continue to have a healthier diet. I also received my labs that you suggested I get and my thyroid and vitamin D are off. I am now adjusting my thyroid medication and taking vitamins. I was already exercising, but make a conscious effort to keep going. I really enjoyed your coaching style. You listened to what I was saying. You made sure you clarified some things just to make sure you were understating what I was saying and feeling. I never felt judged by you even when I was talking about some dark moments and secrets. I really thank you for that. You made me feel like I was making progress and encouraged me throughout the whole process. I can honestly say I have learned to let go of some things that were holding me back to make better life choices whether it is mental health or diet and exercise. I have to tell you I have shared the things we talked about with my grown kids and they are making better diet choices. We started by agreeing we would not buy pop and chips for the house. LOL, any little bit helps and you have to start somewhere. I would recommend your coaching to anyone who is serious about making a change in their life and willing to put in the effort and honesty to achieve a positive outcome.
